A unique loose tea blend that strengthens the vascular system, improves tone and integrity.
Respiratory Relief Tea is safe for pregnancy (after the first trimester), and postpartum.
This blend contains Nettle Leaf, Red Raspberry Leaf, White Oak Bark, Butchers Broom Root, Citrus Peel and Stevia Leaf.
Recognized for its tonic and nutritional value. It is rich in vitamins and minerals and has traditionally been used primarily in the spring time to stimulate slow winter blood. Nettle is a popular tonic used by many herbalists for treating iron deficiency, which improves milk supply.
The nutrients found in Red Raspberry Leaf can especially help with a healthy and effectively functioning uterus. It provides almost all of the nutrients needed for uterine health, which in turn will help with a healthy pregnancy.
White Oak Bark contains a high level of tannins which may help reduce inflammation through an astringent action. This is good for treating varicose veins and other skin conditions such as burns, abrasions and eczema.
A small evergreen shrub, Butchers Broom has been used in herbal medicine for thousands of years. Its active compounds, including flavonoids, is linked to health benefits such as improved blood circulation and reduced inflammation.
Citrus Peels are packed with immune boosting vitamin C, and anti-oxidant & anti-inflammatory bioflavonoids. They're also a source of potassium, which helps keep bloody pressure in check, and limonene, a phytochemical that may have anti-cancer effects and can help with heart burn.
Whole Stevia Leaf is used to sweeten our teas, while being entirely calorie-free. Stevia has also been found to significantly lower insulin and glucose levels, and lowering LDL ("bad") cholesterol while increasing HDL ("good") cholesterol.
