This blend contains Nettle Leaf, Alfalfa Leaf, Yellow Dock Root, Dandelion Leaf and Red Raspberry Leaf.
Recognized for its tonic and nutritional value. It is rich in vitamins and minerals and has traditionally been used primarily in the spring time to stimulate slow winter blood. Nettle is a popular tonic used by many herbalists for treating iron deficiency, which improves milk supply.
Alfalfa, also called lucerne and called Medicago sativa in binomial nomenclature, is a perennial flowering plant in the legume family Fabaceae. It is cultivated as an important forage crop in many countries around the world. It has long been prized for its superior content of vitamins, minerals and protein.
Thought to benefit the digestive tract, liver and skin – Yellow Dock Root is believed to be alleviate symptoms surrounding poor digestion, poor liver function or "toxicity".
Herbalist Rosemary Gladstar calls dandelion root “a classic liver tonic or ‘blood purifier,’ with a stimulating and decongesting effect on the liver.” The bitter compounds in dandelion root help to stimulate the liver and have a cleansing effect.
The nutrients found in Red Raspberry Leaf can especially help with a healthy and effectively functioning uterus. It provides almost all of the nutrients needed for uterine health, which in turn will help with a healthy pregnancy.

Steep 2-3g (1 tbsp) of loose tea for 10-20 minutes in 6-8oz of hot water. Drink as needed.
To make a stronger tea for a larger quantity, use 1/2-1oz of loose tea and steep for 1-4 hours at room temperature. Strain, refrigerate and use within 48 hours.
To maximize the results of Iron Tonic Tea, ideally drink this tea on an empty stomach. If you can't tolerate it on an empty stomach, drink this tea with a meal.
