Sitz baths can be wonderfully healing and comforting right after birth. They are much easier and safer than a full bath in the early days postpartum.
You can enjoy a sitz bath after giving birth, once or twice a day as many days as needed.
Sitz baths are safe as early as one hour after birth &are highly recommended if you have perineal soreness, tearing and hemorrhoids.
Instructions are always included on how to best prepare.
Yarrow has earned itself the nickname of "cure-all" over the centuries, known as an amphoteric herb – meaning that it normalizes a body system. It can be used as an emmenagogue to bring on delay or absent menstruation, and to reduce heavy bleeding during menstruation.
Lavender is another herb known for its relaxing properties and ability to calm the nervous system. Like lemon balm, it can be very effective at relieving stress and tension headaches.
Uva Ursi is a shrub used for infections of the kidney, bladder urethra and swelling of the urinary tract. It's thought to help reduce bacteria in the urine, swelling and have a drying effect on tissues.

Rosemary Leaf helps to strengthen mental clarity and memory. It's packed full of antioxidants, along with compounds that have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.
Minimally processed, Sea Salt contains minerals including potassium, iron and calcium. Salt can help you to maintain hydration, blood pressure, along with decreasing skin dryness and inflammation.

Add 1 cup of Herbal Sitz Bath to cups of water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Strain, add to bath water.
To maximize the results of Herbal Sitz we recommend using it as early as one hour after birth, an then once or twice daily as needed.
