We will begin together at the apothecary in Edgewater and take a short drive to the property to begin our lesson. Alison has been studying foraging, permaculture, and primitive skills for almost 15 years.
We will learn the basics of foraging & fermentation, what can be foraged seasonally, and how to use plants in multiple ways. The class will include a stroll through the property and the identification of some common plants and trees in the area. The terrain is flat, but it is suggested to wear comfortable shoes for walking around.
