This is not real Frankincense. I do not like the smell or the feel of this oil, real Frankincense has a lingering scent.

Thank you for sharing your feedback—we really appreciate you taking the time to let us know your experience. I do want to reassure you that the Frankincense essential oil we carry is 100% pure, undiluted, and sourced from a reputable, high-quality supplier. It is not a fragrance oil or blended with any carrier oils.

With that said, there are several different species of frankincense (such as Boswellia carterii, Boswellia serrata, and Boswellia sacra), and each one has its own distinct aroma profile, viscosity, and staying power. In addition, natural variations in harvest, region, and distillation methods can all influence how an oil smells and feels from one batch to another.

There are also differences across types of oils on the market—some products labeled as “frankincense” may be fragrance oils or pre-diluted blends, which can create a stronger or more uniform scent compared to a pure essential oil. Because of these factors, the scent and performance may differ from what you’ve previously experienced. That said, we completely understand that aroma is very personal, and not every oil will resonate the same way for everyone.

We understand that not every oil will be a perfect match for everyone, and we truly appreciate your honest feedback. If you have any questions about how to use it or would like recommendations for alternatives, we’re happy to help.

I love this frankincense oil

I love to mix this oil with myrrh and Calendula oil for minor skin irritations. It smells wonderful in my diffuser as well; it creates a balances atmosphere. Great quality oils.
